One topic Elizabeth Gioia hopes to investigate further as she continues her work, is the concept of femininity. She has often not embraced her feminine nature to its full extent. Elizabeth sees this as an important part of her identity and therefore feels the need to address it as it deserves. As she progresses Elizabeth hopes to explore the ideas of what makes one a woman and how one's identifying as such influences their art.

Another point of interest which Elizabeth would like to focus on in the future, is the concept of home. Coming from a split home, Elizabeth experienced home in a different way from the standard family dynamic. She hopes to explore her unique view point and how she can relate and still find solidarity throughout her life.

Elizabeth also finds the omnipresence of technology to be an intriguing topic. A product of the abundance of technology in all hemispheres of life, is the fact that human interaction has evolved and maintains new and bizarre rules. The way we communicate as humans is fundamentally different. Due to the change in the methods of communication for humanity, artists must learn to produce art which can be consumed in a world engrossed with its devices. Elizabeth hopes to find new ways to produce and distribute art for the modern world.
